I was not the director of the institute. I was Head of the Communications and External Relations Department. Before that, a technologist for transfer.
I carried climate facts to the South Moravian Region and to other tables where decisions get made. After I left in August 2026, those ties broke.
Communication of global change does not have to end at a press release. TERRA is a game about noon heat, shelter, and the planet underfoot.

Institute communication ran ad hoc. It hung on whoever had time and appetite.
What I built
In 2023–2025 I was a technologist for technology transfer and industrial use of wood-decaying fungi. From January to July 2026 I was Head of the Communications and External Relations Department.
I built the strategy, the action plan, the crisis plan and the spokesperson roster. A function tied to the research, not to a mood.
What changed
For those six months communication stopped being ad hoc.
I handed the function over in July 2026. I left in August 2026.
After I left, the institute returned to the original regime. The ties that carried climate facts to the South Moravian Region and beyond broke.
What transfers
A document that does not outlast a change of people is not a system. It is my notebook.
That is why I now build handover so it outlasts me. That is the product Communication as a system.
