I would place my aesthetic somewhere between Czech and Danish painting.

I got my first studio at seventeen. Then Fontainebleau, Alicante, Ostrava, Copenhagen.

In Denmark I came closer to Asger Jorn and Per Kirkeby. Abstract deconstruction. Line. Rhythm.

David makes medium to large abstract paintings that insist on the final drawn line, compositional form and contrasting colour. Musicality and rhythm are essential to him.
